“Cutleaf coneflower is always a striking sight, with dropping rays that set it apart from the other Susans. A great choice to fill out areas with average to moist, organically rich soil, it can spread aggressively, so site accordingly and don’t hesitate to divide.”
– Native Plant Trust
“There are not many woodland flowers that will reach the height of this coneflower. Its bright yellow flowers and relatively late bloom time compared to many spring-blooming woodland flowers make it a wonderful addition to your shade or semi-shade planting. Its preference is for part shade, but will grow in full sun if the soil holds moisture well. Wild Golden Glow is rhizomatous and can be aggressive so may not be suitable for small landscape plantings.”
