The 2026 season approaches fast! And we mostly know where we’ll be this year!

Our spring sale

As usual, we will be holding a spring sale at our home nursery. This is scheduled for Saturday, May 9th, 2026, from 11am-5pm, in Lunenburg, MA. Please email lise@redtrilliumgardens.com for the address; as this is my home, I’d like to ensure that internet randos don’t show up at my door.

Leominster Farmers’ Market

Our current plan is to be at most of the Leominster Farmers’ Market events organized by North Central Mass Farmers Markets. These are generally the first Saturday of the month from June to October, 10am - 1pm, in Monument Square in downtown Leominster, MA. The ones we’ll attend are: June 6th (time change to 3-7pm, during the Summer Stroll), July 5th, August 1st, and September 5th.

We also plan to do the final indoor market of the year, on Thursday, May 21st, 2026, 4-6pm, at Leominster City Hall.

Note that this is only regular farmers’ market we plan to do in 2026. We will make appearances at other farmers’ markets via Grow Native Mass’ pop-up market series. We may also make occasional visits to the Lunenburg Artisan Market or Groton Farmers’ Market. I will announce these as they get scheduled.

Grow Native Mass Pop-up Markets

We are once again partnering with Grow Native Massachusetts and other native plant nurseries to, well, pop up at farmers’ markets across MA! Currently we are signed up to attend:

  • Carlisle Route to Sustainability: Sunday, May 3, 2026, 1-4pm, Carlisle, MA. Last year it was in the town center, but I’m unsure where it will be this year. More info as I have it!
  • Davis Square Farmers’ Market: Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 12-6pm, 44 Day Street, Somerville, MA. Hopefully it will be warmer than last year’s!
  • (tentative) Ipswich River Watershed Association Riverfest: Sunday, June 14, 2026, 1-4pm in Ipswich River Park, North Reading, MA. I say “tentative” only because right now I’m the only nursery signed up for this market!
  • Brookline Farmers’ Market: Thursday, June 18, 2026, 1:30-6:30pm, Centre Street West Parking Lot, Brookline, MA
  • Central Square Farmers Market: Monday, June 29, 2026, 12-6pm, 76 Bishop Allen Dr, Cambridge, MA 02139
  • Wilmington Farmers’ Market: Sunday, July 12, 2026, 10am - 1pm, 140 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA
  • Newton Farmers’ Market: Tuesday, September 15, 1:30-6pm, Cold Spring Park, 1189 Beacon Street, Newton, MA
  • MEGA Pop Up @ Grow Native! Saturday, October 17, 2026, 10am-3pm, at the Grow Native Mass headquarters, 7 Harrington Rd, Lexington, MA

One-offs

We have also been invited to the following events in April:

  • Lunenburg Earth Day: Wednesday, April 22, 2pm-6pm, TC Passios Building, 1025 Massachusetts Ave, Lunenburg, MA. Times and location still tentative, last I spoke to the organizer.
  • Agriculture in Action Expo, Saturday, April 25, 2026, 10am-3pm, at Mount Wachusett Community College, Gardner, MA
