June markets!
By Lise Fracalossi
I survived May! That’s always an accomplishment, lol. Though, given the number of markets we’re doing in June, this might be the more difficult month!
June Markets
We’ll be doing our first June market this very weekend: the Leominster Farmers’ Market, June 5, 2026, from 10am to 1pm in Monument Square in downtown Fitchburg, MA! Once again, thanks to NCM Markets and the ever-competent Shelby Renaud for making this happen!
Next up, we’ll be setting up at North County Land Trust’s Native Pollinator Garden Tour on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 8am to noon in Lunenburg, MA. You will need to register for the tour in order to shop, but as of writing there were still tickets available.
We’ll be doing no less than THREE Grow Native MA markets this month:
- Ipswich River Watershed Association Riverfest: Sunday, June 14, 2026, 1-4pm in Ipswich River Park, North Reading, MA. For this event we’ll be joined by Hilltop Natives of Norwood, MA.
- Brookline Farmers’ Market: Thursday, June 18, 2026, 1:30-6:30pm, Centre Street West Parking Lot, Brookline, MA. This was a hopping market last year, so we’re hoping for more of the same this year! We’ll be joined by Lady Fern Farm, Checkerspot Farm, Butterfly Effect Farm, and Hilltop Natives.
- Central Square Farmers Market: Monday, June 29, 2026, 12-6pm, 76 Bishop Allen Dr, Cambridge, MA 02139. A new one this year! Other vendors include Checkerspot Farm, Butterfly Effect Farm, and Hilltop Natives.
We also have one tentative event: Newton Tuesday Farmers’ Market Opening Day. Tuesday, June 23, 2026, 1:30-6pm, Cold Spring Park, 1189 Beacon Street, Newton, MA. This is tentative only because I haven’t heard confirmation from the organizers yet. But I, at least, am raring to go! The Newton Farmers Market is always such a joy to do ❤️

See you soon! In the meantime, enjoy the featured image above: a carpet of azure bluets (Houstonia caerulea) growing in my yard. Who needs dandelions when you’ve got these spring stunners?
